Jesper Sand Damtoft

Jesper Sand Damtoft serves as the Chairman of INNO-CCUS since June 2024 and has held various roles at Cementir Holding N.V. since September 2010, currently as Group Sustainability Director. Additionally, Jesper is involved with the Global Cement and Concrete Association as a member of Working Group 5: Innovation and serves on the board of the Geological Survey of Denmark and Greenland. Membership in the Committee for Research and Education at Dansk Industri has been ongoing since September 2014. Jesper previously chaired the Task Force on Sustainable Construction for CEMBUREAU and was a board member for Tænketanken DEA. Between August 2001 and September 2010, Jesper was Director of Product Technology and Vice President of R&D at Aalborg Portland A/S. Jesper's career includes significant roles at Aalborg Portland, spanning from Executive Manager of R&D to various managerial positions in research and development, as well as serving on the board of NunaMinerals. Jesper holds an MSc in Geology from Aarhus University, obtained between 1977 and 1984.
