Katie Griffen

Katie Griffen is an experienced professional in the field of social services, currently serving as an Independent Living Skills Supervisor at the Child Saving Institute since June 2022. In this role, Katie supervises a team and collaborates with specialists to coach young adults with foster care backgrounds on essential skills for transitioning to adulthood, while also managing payroll, documentation, program improvements, and grant reporting. Previously, Katie worked as a Specialized Probation Officer for the State of Nebraska, supervising youth under court-ordered supervision, and as an Independent Living Specialist at PromiseShip, focusing on life skill development. Early career experience includes serving as a Child and Family Services Specialist with the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services, where investigations into child abuse allegations were conducted.
