Xiao Wang

Xiao Wang is currently an Aviation Technician Student in Aircraft Maintenance at Centennial College, beginning in September 2024. Prior experience includes a Software Engineer role at Infinity Vision Consulting since November 2020, and a Research Software Engineer position at Quartic.ai from May 2021 to March 2024. Earlier experience encompasses a Research and Development Internship at Omics Data Automation, where deep learning analyses on lung cancer histopathology images were conducted, and a Graduate Teaching Assistantship at Oregon Health & Science University focusing on machine learning courses. Additional clinical shadowing experiences in oncology and occupational therapy were completed at The PLA General Hospital and Central City Concern, respectively. Prior research internships at the Ontario Institute for Cancer Research and the University of Toronto involved investigations into gene regulatory networks and human disordered proteins. Xiao Wang holds an Honours Bachelor of Science in Bioinformatics and Computational Biology from the University of Toronto and a Master of Science in Bioinformatics and Computational Biomedicine from Oregon Health & Science University.
