One of Mattos Filho's founding partners, Roberto Quiroga reassumed his role as the firm’s managing partner in 2020. As a lawyer, he has focused his career on tax law, acquisitions and corporate reorganizations, and financial and capital markets, assisting clients in Brazil and abroad.
For over 20 years, Quiroga has played a leading role in pioneering Mattos Filho’s pro bono work in Brazil, helping to build the values present in our culture and enabling us to make a positive impact on society. He was also fundamental in establishing our innovative governance model (which went on to become a case study at Harvard University), assuring the firm’s sustainability and success in the Brazilian legal market.
Quiroga is a professor of Tax Law at the Law School of Universidade de São Paulo (USP) and in the Master’s Program at the Law School of Fundação Getulio Vargas (FGV).One of the firm’s founding partners, Roberto Quiroga reassumed his role as the firm’s managing partner in 2020.
