Mikaela Rose Tajo

Mikaela Rose Tajo is a Research Analyst at the Urban Institute, where responsibilities include data collection, visualization, and the co-facilitation of a virtual data walk for equity leaders. Previously, Mikaela interned with the Brookings Institution, focusing on the Race, Prosperity, and Inclusion Initiative, and worked with the National Association of Counties to assist member counties in utilizing federal rescue funds. Other experiences include roles as a Majority Leader at Supermajority and an AmeriCorps Member at City Gate Inc, where Mikaela managed social media, conducted outreach, and tutored students. Mikaela's background also includes research assistance positions in political science and congressional internships. Mikaela holds a Master of Professional Studies in Legislative Affairs and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Public Policy from The George Washington University.
