Seth Owens

Seth Owens has extensive experience in maritime operations, currently serving as Captain and Chief Mate at Centerline Logistics Corporation since December 2021, where responsibilities include overseeing senior cargo operations on the ATB Robin Marie and Joni Lee. Prior to this role, Seth worked at Kirby from March 2015 to December 2021, holding the positions of Mate on ATB Capt Hagen and ATB Lucia, as well as AB/Tankerman. Additionally, Seth completed an internship as a Deck Cadet with United States Shipping Corporation in 2012, gaining hands-on training and experience in various operational tasks. Seth holds a Bachelor's Degree in Marine Transportation from Texas A&M University Galveston Campus and trained at Texas Maritime Academy, focusing on marine transportation, while obtaining credentials as a United States Merchant Marine.
