Joel Yue

Joel Yue is a seasoned metallurgist with extensive experience in the mining and mineral processing industry. Currently serving as Director of Metallurgy at Centerra Gold Inc. since May 2020, Joel previously held roles as Superintendent of Metallurgy and at Thompson Creek Metals Company from October 2012 to May 2020, where responsibilities included metal balance, plant surveys, and quality assurance control. Earlier experience includes positions as a Senior Metallurgist and Metallurgist, as well as a Coop student at Highland Valley Copper and a Lab Technician at Barrick Technology Center. Joel holds a Bachelor of Applied Science degree in mining and mineral processing from The University of British Columbia, earned between 2005 and 2012.
