Kanan Tayyarli

Kanan Tayyarli is a legal professional currently serving as an Adjunct Lecturer in Banking Law at Baku State University since September 2024, while also holding the position of Lead Legal Counsel at the Central Bank of the Republic of Azerbaijan since October 2021. Kanan has previously worked as Legal Counsel and Junior Legal Counsel at the same institution, and as a Junior Lawyer at Turan Legal and Tax Services. Kanan co-founded and serves on the Executive Board of the Foreign Educated Lawyers’ Association - FELAS since June 2023. Kanan's legal experience began with internships at BHM Law Firm, Azerbaijan Bar Association Kangarli & Partners Law Office, and AmCham Azerbaijan. Academic achievements include a Master of Laws (LLM) in Business Law from The Martin Luther University of Halle-Wittenberg and a Bachelor of Laws (LLB) from Baku State University.
