Kalia Mitchell-Silbaugh

Kalia Mitchell-Silbaugh currently serves as a Policy Advisor at Central Coast Community Energy, beginning in January 2024. Previously, Kalia held the position of Legal/Administrative Assistant at Tosdal APC from July 2022 to January 2024, where responsibilities included drafting legal documents for Community Choice Aggregation clients and conducting research on CPUC proceedings. Kalia also served as Vice President of the UCSD Daughters of Triton acapella group, managing group dynamics and rehearsal schedules, and as a Writing Mentor in the Analytical Writing Program at UC San Diego, providing individualized support to students. Additionally, Kalia worked as a Senior Resident Assistant, overseeing a diverse community of residents while fostering inclusive programming. Kalia's early experience includes roles as an Administrative Assistant and Courtesy Clerk. Kalia earned a Bachelor of Arts in Literature/Writing and Theatre from UC San Diego in 2022.
