Edgar Israel S.

Edgar Israel S. is a dedicated mathematics educator currently serving as a Graduate Assistant at Central Michigan University since August 2022, where responsibilities include leading classes in intermediate algebra and providing office hours for students. Previously, Edgar worked as a Summer Academy Teaching Assistant at Thrive Scholars, enhancing students’ skills in precalculus and trigonometry, and as an Assistant Site Director for the same organization, overseeing the operations and support for 268 high school students. Edgar has also held various roles in educational outreach, math instruction, research assistance, and library support throughout academic career, holding degrees from reputable institutions including Colorado College, Northwestern University, and currently pursuing a PhD in Mathematics at Central Michigan University.
