The CWSO presents an annual subscription series to the residents of Central Wisconsin.  Now in its 75th year, this regional orchestra comprises 75 professional musicians.  Education is an integral part of the mission of the CWSO, presenting master classes with guest artists, hands-on music education experience for area primary and secondary students, the Dorothy Vetter Memorial Educational Concerts for area fourth grade students and chamber concert series.

The CWSO also manages the Central Wisconsin Youth Symphony Orchestra Program, comprising of 6-12 grade students from many central Wisconsin schools. This Program offers 2 ensembles- Philharmonia and Youth Symphony Orchestra.

The CWSO offices are located on the second floor of the beautiful Smith Scarabocchio Art Museum on the corner of Water and Main in downtown Stevens Point.
