Xavier Bailly has held the position of Directeur délégué de la Cité internationale de la langue française since June 2014, while also serving as Administrateur for significant French heritage sites including the châteaux de Villers-Cotterêts, Pierrefonds, and Coucy, as well as the Abbaye du Mont-Saint-Michel and Château de Carrouges. Prior to this, Xavier Bailly worked at Amiens Métropole from June 2001 to May 2014 as Directeur du Patrimoine, overseeing the UNESCO heritage assets such as the Notre-Dame d'Amiens Cathedral and the Beffroi. In this role, project management was undertaken for significant restoration efforts and heritage valorization. Xavier Bailly holds a Maitrise C2 in Art History and Archaeology from the University of Lille 1 and a Master 2 in Culture and Heritage Sociology from Université de Picardie Jules Verne.
