Jaye Zhou

Jaye (Guangqi) Zhou, PhD, currently serves as MSAT Associate Scientist II at CCRM since April 2022, leading technology transfer for various internal and GMP Fee-for-Service projects, including iPSC banking and gene-editing. Prior to this, Jaye held positions as MSAT Associate Scientist I at Index Biosystems, focusing on yeast engineering and microbiology experiments, and as a Research Scientist in Microbiology at Spectral Materials, where Jaye collaborated on microbial tests for functional coatings and drug delivery products. Jaye also has experience as a Postdoctoral Fellow at the University of Toronto, leading research on host-pathogen interactions and mentoring graduate students. Jaye earned a PhD in Microbiology from Zhejiang University in 2015.
