Clancy Rudeforth

Humanitarian Mediation Program at Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue (HD)

Clancy Rudeforth is an experienced professional in humanitarian mediation and conflict resolution, currently leading the Humanitarian Mediation Program at the Centre for Humanitarian Dialogue since July 2015. Previous roles include consulting for the Center on International Cooperation at New York University, where focus was on education in violence-affected Afghanistan, and serving as Project Lead at the Walk Free Foundation. Clancy has also held positions as a graduate consultant in the United States Office of the Vice President and as a lawyer at Herbert Smith Freehills, specializing in international energy and human rights. An accomplished athlete, Clancy played professional Australian Rules Football with the West Coast Eagles and captained the Claremont Football Club. Academic credentials include multiple degrees in international affairs, energy law, and international law, with studies completed at prestigious institutions such as Columbia University and Sciences Po.
