Pedro Vianna is a specialist in quantitative ultrasound imaging at the Centre de recherche du CHUM (CRCHUM) since August 2020, focusing on data analysis in ultrasound imaging research, which includes elastography and quantitative ultrasound techniques, as well as machine learning applications. Prior experience includes roles as a researcher in clinical applications of deep learning on liver ultrasound images and breast ultrasound images processing using deep learning techniques at respective institutions. Starting their career with an undergraduate research position in non-destructive testing and the susceptibility of steel, Pedro's academic credentials include a PhD in Biomedical Engineering from Université de Montréal and master's and bachelor's degrees in Biomedical Engineering and Metallurgical Engineering, respectively, from Universidade Federal do Rio de Janeiro.
