Xavier Rey currently serves as the Directeur de Musée national d'art moderne-Centre de création industrielle at the Centre Pompidou since October 2021. Previously, Xavier held the position of Directeur des Musées de Marseille from February 2017 to October 2021 and served as Directeur des collections at the Musée d'Orsay from July 2010 to January 2017, where responsibilities included leading the scientific direction committee and overseeing the painting collection.
