A Suchitra

A Suchitra currently serves as the Director of the School of Climate and Disaster Studies at Centurion University of Technology and Management since September 2017. Prior experience includes managing HelpAge International Nepal's emergency response program following the 2015 earthquake, and holding the position of Country Program Manager at Handicap International in India, focusing on strategic program management. Suchitra has also worked as an independent consultant and program manager for various organizations, including managing response and recovery projects with Welthungerhilfe India. Additional roles involved coordination and program development related to disaster preparedness and risk reduction at CARE India and community-based disaster preparedness initiatives at CYSD. Suchitra holds diplomas in Climate Change Adaptation and Disaster Risk Reduction from EPFL and NGO Management from the Institute of Rural Management Anand.
