Danny Scarponi

Epidemiologist And Data Scientist at CEPI (Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations)

Danny Scarponi is a seasoned modeler and data scientist currently working at CEPI since July 2023. Prior experience includes serving as a research fellow at the London School of Hygiene and Tropical Medicine from July 2020 to July 2023 and as a class teacher in advanced linear algebra and calculus at The London School of Economics from August 2018 to August 2020. Additional roles include researcher at King's College, with a focus on arithmetic geometry, and postdoctoral researcher at the University of Regensburg. Danny Scarponi has also lectured at Pembroke College, Oxford. Academic qualifications include a PhD in Mathematics from Université Paul Sabatier Toulouse III, a Master's degree from Università di Pisa, and a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics from the same institution.
