Christian Wolff

Christian Wolff is a distinguished academic and finance professional currently serving as a Senior Professor and Research Professor in the Department of Finance at the University of Luxembourg, along with the role of Director and Professor at the Luxembourg School of Finance. Additionally, Christian holds a position as a Visiting Professor in the Department of Banking and Finance at Chulalongkorn University from November 2024. With a rich history of affiliations, Christian has been a Research Fellow at the Centre for Economic Policy Research since 1987, and previously served as Vice President and Acting President of the Fondation Banque Centrale du Luxembourg from 2011 to 2021. Christian’s editorial contributions include founding the Journal of Empirical Finance with Elsevier. Educational credentials encompass a PhD and an MBA from the University of Chicago, along with a Master's and Bachelor's degree in Economics from Erasmus University Rotterdam.
