Chamitha Rathnayake

Chamitha Rathnayake is an experienced Electrical Engineer with a career spanning over a decade, currently serving at Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) since July 2015, working on the 3x300MW Lakvijaya Power Plant in Norochcholai. Prior experience includes roles at Dialog Axiata PLC from August 2013 to July 2015, where responsibilities involved investment appraisal, product costing, management reporting, and performance management. Earlier experience includes a trainee engineer position at CEB in 2012, conducting an internship covering various aspects of power engineering, and serving as a CAD Designer at CERPS-Faculty of Engineering, University of Peradeniya in early 2009. Chamitha Rathnayake holds qualifications from The Chartered Institute of Management Accountants, the Institute of Engineers, Sri Lanka, and a degree from the University of Peradeniya.
