Gayan Perera

Gayan Perera is an experienced Electrical Engineer currently working at Ceylon Electricity Board since October 2021. Previous positions include roles at Ocean Lanka (Pvt) Ltd, where responsibilities involved maintaining and monitoring MV transformer yards and LV distribution systems, and South Asia Textile Limited, focusing on planned maintenance of factory electrical systems. Gayan Perera has also contributed to renewable energy projects as an R&D Engineer at Novena Tec, designing solar-powered solutions. Gayan Perera's career began as a trainee electrical engineer at various companies, including Ceylon Electricity Board and Diesel & Motor Engineering PLC. Gayan Perera holds an Engineer’s Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa.
