Kamal Warna Dayananda

Kamal Warna Dayananda is an experienced electrical engineer currently serving as an Area Electrical Engineer at Ceylon Electricity Board since August 2015, where responsibilities include the design, construction, operation, and maintenance of MV and LV networks, ensuring power quality, and authorizing renewable energy connections to the national grid. Previous roles include Electrical Engineer in Distribution Planning, and various engineering positions in revenue assurance and radio network optimization at Mobitel (Pvt) Ltd and Sierra Global Network, among others. Kamal also held the position of Chairman at IET Young Professionals - Sri Lanka Network from 2015 to 2017 and has academic credentials that include a Bachelor of Science in Electrical & Electronics Engineering and a Master of Business Administration, both from the University of Peradeniya.
