Rajith Gamage

Rajith Gamage has extensive experience in the electrical engineering sector, currently serving as a Shift Charge Engineer at Ceylon Electricity Board (CEB) since November 2013, where responsibilities include supervising operations and ensuring the safe and efficient performance of the Kalanithissa Combined Cycle Power Station. Previously, Rajith held roles as an Electrical Engineer for Renewable Energy Projects, managing integration and compliance for approximately 250 projects, and as part of the Distribution Planning team, focusing on the design of electrical distribution networks. Rajith's early career includes engineering roles at Mobitel (Pvt) Ltd and Resource Management Associates (Pvt) Ltd, as well as internships at CEB. Educational qualifications include a Master of Science and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Moratuwa, complemented by a secondary education at St. Aloysius' College.
