Sumith Wellawa

Sumith Wellawa is an experienced Electrical Engineer with over 10 years of expertise in electrical installation, procurement planning, and management processes. Currently serving at the Ceylon Electricity Board since March 2020, Sumith has previously contributed to the State Engineering Corporation of Sri Lanka from November 2010 to March 2020. Sumith has a proven track record of managing multi-million dollar projects, including specialized works in generator, pump, and lift installations, as well as fire fighting systems and data and voice network systems. Academic credentials include a Bachelor of Science (Eng) Hons in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Peradeniya, attained in 2010, following education at St Mary's College, Kegalle.
