Brian Nicholson

Brian Nicholson is a seasoned professional in landscape architecture with extensive experience spanning over 18 years. Currently serving as the VDC+BIM Leader at CFC Construction, Brian specializes in reviewing design documents and BIM models to support preconstruction efforts and ensuring quality assurance throughout design development. Prior to this role, Brian worked as a self-employed estimator and as a senior landscape product specialist at Vectorworks, where contributions included training and support for landscape architecture projects. Brian's leadership roles within ASLA Colorado include serving as Past-President, President, President-Elect, and Treasurer. Previous positions held include Senior Associate at Wenk Associates and Associate at RNL, focusing on sustainable site design and project management. Academic achievements include a Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture from the University of Colorado Denver and a Bachelor’s degree in Landscape Horticulture from Colorado State University.
