Nel Moore

Nel Moore is an accomplished executive in the biotechnology and pharmaceuticals sector with extensive experience in global drug development and product divestments. Currently serving as Executive Chair and Chairman of the Board at CHAIN Biotechnology Ltd and a Council Member at Aston University, Nel has also been a Senior Consultant at FWEast Consulting since January 2018, specializing in product strategy and partnership development. Involved with CARB-X as a member of the Post-Approval Advisory Board and previously held non-executive director positions at PhagoMed Biopharma GmbH and METALINEAR LIMITED. Nel's background includes significant leadership roles at AstraZeneca, where responsibilities spanned from Vice President of Development Antibiotics to Global Product Director for both Infection and Oncology portfolios. With a PhD in Biochemistry from Birmingham University, Nel has a strong foundation in T-cell development and immunology stemming from early research fellowships at the University of Birmingham.
