Nel Moore

Nel Moore is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the biotechnology and pharmaceutical sectors. Serving as Executive Chair and Chairman of the Board at CHAIN Biotechnology Ltd since March 2019, Nel also holds a position as a Council Member at Aston University from June 2024. A Senior Consultant at FWEast Consulting since January 2018, Nel specializes in Global Drug Development and Product Divestments, focusing on product strategies and collaborative partnerships in R&D. Additionally, Nel contributes to CARB-X’s Post-Approval Advisory Board, addressing the urgent challenge of drug-resistant bacteria. Previous roles include Non-Executive Director positions at PhagoMed Biopharma GmbH and METALINEAR LIMITED, as well as a significant tenure at AstraZeneca, where responsibilities ranged from Vice President of Development Antibiotics to Global Product Vice President for Infection. Nel's academic background includes a PhD and BSc (Hons) in Biochemistry from Birmingham University.
