We use soccer to attract children. Providing a ball, uniform, top level playing fields and a trained and equipped coach, Champions United is one of the most resourced soccer programs in East Africa. We leverage this introduction on the field into whole-life mentoring with a focus on leadership and character development.

Our core deliverable is mentoring children through our whole-life approach. Our mentoring process engages with children in the areas of personal hygiene, academics, spiritual and physical development. Additionally, each coach is equipped and continually developed to be a highly effective mentor.

All of our coaches are followers of Jesus Christ. They are men and women who are motivated by the hope and strength they derive from their faith.

For the children in our program, mentoring is optional. Muslims, Christians, and tribal faiths gather at our fields and play in our leagues. Everyone is invited to play in our leagues and enjoy the services at our campus.

REVENUE STRATEGY:
Importantly, our campuses are outfitted with the highest quality field turf on the continent. This enables us to rent our fields to teams and businesses for recreational use, typically in the evening when not utilized by our mentoring program. This model generates enough revenue to fund 100% of our operating expenses, including the salaries of our entire full time coaching staff. It is a truly financially self-sustaining operating model.

We have 10 campuses that each mentor 5000+ boys and girls annually.
​Our coaches live onsite at our campuses, overseeing revenue activities and providing care for the children in the surrounding area. Ultimately, the impact of these campuses ripples through schools churches and families. Champions United campuses are pillars for the community, serving thousands.
