David Longnecker

Advisor at Champz Health

David Longnecker has been working in the healthcare industry for over 20 years. David began their career as a professor of anesthesiology at the University of Pennsylvania School of Medicine. In 2005, they became the director of the American Association of Medical Colleges (AAMC) and led quality, safety, and quality improvement initiatives for academic medical centers. In 2014, they left AAMC to become the executive director of C-TAC, where they worked to transform US healthcare by promoting C-TAC's vision that all Americans with advanced illness receive high-quality, person-centered care. In their current position as advisor at Champz Health, David continues to work to improve the quality of healthcare for all Americans.

David Longnecker has a MD from Indiana University School of Medicine, and did a residency in Anesthesiology. David also interned at Blodgett Memorial Hospital. David's undergraduate degree is in Anatomy and Physiology from Indiana University Bloomington.
