Nancy Parker-Taylor is the current advisor at Champz Health. Nancy was previously the chief strategy officer at Stanford University School of Medicine from January 2015 to March 2018. In their role, they were responsible for defining the vision for Stanford Medicine and translating that vision into strategy. This included developing organization-wide strategic and operational plans - including the first ever integrated strategic plan across the school and two hospitals. Parker-Taylor was also responsible for driving the execution of initiatives, investments, and tactics required to achieve goals.
During their time at Stanford University School of Medicine, Parker-Taylor launched and managed multiple strategic partnerships and programs, including collaboration with Intermountain Health Care and Apollo Health of India. Nancy also built new strategy, consulting, and analytics functions and recruited talent. In addition, Parker-Taylor developed global strategy and oversaw execution of global health initiatives. Nancy additionally managed the safety, quality, and value advisory committee as well as the biomedical data science initiative - which included launching a new data science department. Finally, in collaboration with Stanford Graduate School of Business, Parker-Taylor designed and launched the executive development program, The Innovative Healthcare Leader.
Prior to their role at Stanford University School of Medicine, Parker-Taylor served as the Executive Director at the Council of Accountable Physician Practices from October 2004 to December 2014.
Nancy Parker-Taylor has a Master of Public and Private Management from the Yale School of Management. Nancy also has a Bachelor's degree in Human Biology from Stanford University. In addition, they have completed an Executive Development Program at the International Federation of Health Plans and an Advanced Leadership Program for Kaiser Permanente at UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School.
