Spencer Hitchcock

Spencer Hitchcock is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in both front-end and back-end development. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineer at the Chan Zuckerberg Initiative since December 2019, Spencer previously held the position of Software Engineer at Facebook, where significant contributions included leading the creation of a Q&A forum for developers and implementing a review system for business accounts. Prior experience includes work as a Full Stack Engineer at Sinfonía por la Vida, where a custom donations platform was developed, and as an Android Developer at Monkey Inferno, where an avatar-based chat application achieved significant downloads. Spencer also served as President of the Berkeley Student Cooperative, overseeing critical updates to corporate bylaws.
