Lucy Cooper is a partner at Chapman Tripp, having held that position since December 2017 after serving as a senior associate and senior solicitor from October 2013 to 2017. Previous experience includes working as an associate at Slaughter and May from September 2010 to December 2012, and solicitor roles at Mallesons Stephen Jaques and Russell McVeagh between 2007 and 2006. Lucy’s early career began as a research officer in the New Zealand Parliament's Opposition Leader's Office from February 2004 to November 2005. Educational achievements include an MSc in Comparative Politics from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a combined LLB (Hons) and BA in Law and Political Science from Victoria University of Wellington.
