Mike joined the Board of Trustees because he believes deeply in the mission of Charles Armstrong, and he serves on the Finance and Audit committees. Mike is a veteran lawyer and business person with more than 30 years of experience working with technology companies. He is currently working at Nikkl, a fintech startup. Prior to Nikkl, Mike headed up Product Operations at Twilio where he helped Twilio scale from a 250-person startup to a global publicly-traded communications company. Prior to Twilio, Mike worked as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company for seven years where he focused on strategy and operations for large-scale information technology organizations. Earlier in his career, Mike was the General Counsel and Vice President of Finance for Advanced Interconnect Technologies, a semiconductor assembly and test company that was acquired by Unisem, a publicly-traded company headquartered in Malaysia. Mike also worked as investment banker at SoundView Technology Group where he focused on data storage companies, and he started his career as a corporate and securities attorney at Wilson Sonsini Goodrich & Rosati. Mike has an M.B.A. with High Honors from The Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and was a Palmer Scholar. He also has a J.D. with honors from the University of Chicago Law School, and an A.B. with honors from Princeton University. He is a member of the State Bar of California.
