James Quinney

James Quinney serves as the Director of Partner Performance at Charles Russell Speechlys since October 2020, bringing extensive legal expertise with over 20 years at Herbert Smith Freehills, where roles included Global Head of Competition and Partner. Prior to this, James worked as a self-employed Executive Coach for a few years. James's career began at Rowe & Maw (now Mayer Brown) as a Trainee, progressing to Associate before holding various positions, including Policy Specialist at the UK Department of Trade and Industry and the European Commission. Academic credentials include a degree in Jurisprudence from Keble College, Oxford University.
