Jan Domanski

Jan Domanski, PhD, currently serves as VP of Platform and Head of Engineering at CHARM Therapeutics, focusing on the integration of engineering, machine learning, and science to develop an advanced drug discovery platform. Previous experience includes a role as a Software Engineer at Amazon, where improvements were made to internal developer tooling for the Prime Video app. As CTO and co-founder of Labstep, Domanski led the transition from prototype to enterprise product, facilitating significant fundraising and team velocity. A PhD from the University of Oxford was earned while researching the folding of membrane proteins, crucial for drug interactions, complemented by a Master's degree from the University of Oxford and an Erasmus in Computational Chemistry from the University of Groningen. Prior to academia, software infrastructure for molecular dynamics simulations was developed at D. E. Shaw Research and as a summer intern at the University of Oxford.
