Jim Murphy

Jim Murphy is an accomplished banking professional with extensive experience in business banking and financial services. Currently serving as the Metro Market President at CharterWest Bank since June 2023, Jim provides real estate and equipment financing, operating lines, and deposit solutions to business clients throughout Nebraska. Prior to this role, Jim spent 26 years at Bank of the West, where responsibilities included leading a small business banking team across multiple states and specializing in the financial needs of businesses with revenues of $20 million or less. Jim holds a Graduate degree from the Pacific Coast Banking School, an MBA in Business Administration from the University of Nebraska at Omaha, and a BS in Finance from Wayne State College.
