Michael Young

Michael Young serves as the Chief Product and Technology Officer at Chatham Financial, overseeing global product, technology, and strategy for the largest independent financial risk management advisory and technology firm since January 2024. With extensive experience in technology leadership, Michael has held significant roles including Chief Technology Officer at Thomson Reuters, where responsibilities included leading the Digital Experience Platform and advancing global risk product initiatives. In addition to corporate roles, Michael has been a mentor at Techstars and Founders Institute, guiding startups in Toronto and New York. Michael's educational background includes dual MBA degrees in Finance and International Business from Cornell Johnson Graduate School of Management and Smith School of Business at Queen's University, along with a BA in English and Production Management from the University of Toronto.
