Temesgen Futsumbrhan Gebrehiwet currently serves as a Queen Elizabeth II Academy Fellow at Chatham House, starting in October 2023. Prior to this, Temesgen worked as a Research Assistant at the Refugee Studies Centre, University of Oxford, from July to September 2023. In 2022, a role as a Research Trainee at the Refugee Led Research Hub saw Temesgen contribute to the organization's Academic Pillar and develop a graduate access program for refugees. Earlier experience includes serving as a Legal Assistant at Howard and Marietta Legal Practitioners, where Temesgen conducted legal research and prepared documents for litigation. Temesgen holds a Master of Science in Refugee and Forced Migration Studies and a Fellowship in Forced Migration Studies from the University of Oxford, along with a Bachelor's degree in Law from Zambian Open University.
