Gary Deasi

Gary DeAsi currently serves as the Director of Marketing, Demand Generation at Chatmeter, having joined the company in January 2024. Prior to this role, Gary held the position of Senior Director of Marketing, Demand Generation & Business Development at Genesys from December 2021 to January 2024, where Gary contributed significantly to the acquisition of Pointillist and emphasized the importance of customer journey data in shaping the future of customer experience. Gary's earlier experience includes leadership roles in demand generation at Pointillist, where Gary served as Senior Director and Director of Marketing, as well as a Senior Manager in Digital Marketing & Brand at SmartBear Software, where Gary managed corporate branding and inbound marketing strategies. Additional roles encompassed marketing positions at ByAllAccounts, adverTunes LLC, Pearson Education, Allen Roche Group, DRH Enterprises, and National Hirschfeld. Gary holds a Bachelor's degree in Communication from Endicott College.
