Avi Sinai

Avi Sinai currently serves as the VP of R&D for Network Security Products at Check Point Software Technologies Ltd, a role assumed in September 2023. Previously, Avi held the position of VP of R&D at Perimeter 81, focusing on Zero Trust Secure Network as a Service solutions until December 2023. With extensive experience in R&D leadership, Avi has worked at SundaySky as VP of R&D, and at Verint in various roles including Director of R&D for Cyber Intelligence Solutions, managing large engineering teams and developing cyber defense systems. Early career experience includes leadership positions at Allot Communications, Mercury Interactive, Alvarion, and Innowave Wireless Systems. Educational qualifications include an MSc in System Engineering and a BSc in Computer Science from the Technion - Israel Institute of Technology.
