Avi Sabzerou

Avi Sabzerou is an accomplished technical lead and AI promoter with extensive experience in software development and project management. Currently serving as the Technical Lead at Checkmarx since August 2019, Avi oversees the SCA product and spearheads AI initiatives within the Cloud Native Engines and Integrations group. Prior to this role, Avi held various positions at IBM from 2013 to 2019, including Software Developer, Scrum Master, and R&D Project Manager, where accomplishments included coordinating cross-group feature development and managing large teams of developers and testers. Avi’s earlier experience includes leadership roles at NICE Systems and a solid educational background with an MBA from Tel Aviv University and a Bachelor of Arts in Computer Science from the Technion.
