Ameya Bhatawdeka

Ameya Bhatawdekar is an experienced leader in machine learning and engineering, currently serving as the Director of Machine Learning at Dropbox since June 2023. Prior to this role, Ameya held various positions at Microsoft from 2000 to June 2023, including Principal Machine Learning Scientist Manager and leading initiatives such as the Excel Ideas project and the Windows 10 S program. Ameya's tenure at Facebook AI as Product Lead focused on developing AI solutions to address content abuse and integrity issues. Earlier experience includes founding ThreeSixtyDegrees, a performance appraisal service, and working as a Senior Systems Analyst at Infosys Technologies Ltd, where significant contributions to ATM cash management and oil trading systems were made. Ameya holds an MBA from the UW Foster School of Business and a Bachelor of Engineering from Gujarat University.
