Adair Appleton

Adair Appleton is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Research Assistant at The U.S. Russia Foundation for Economic Advancement and the Rule of Law, while also an intern at the Council on Foreign Relations and a Vice President of Campus Affairs for the Graduate & Professional Student Association at UC San Diego. Appleton holds multiple leadership roles within the UC San Diego School of Global Policy and Strategy, including Director of Political Programming for Queer International Policy and Strategy and Vice President of Political Programming for Women Going Global. Previous experience includes roles at the American Association of Colleges and Universities, United States District Court for the District of Columbia, and the Atlantic Council, where responsibilities encompassed event coordination, research, and administrative support. Appleton holds a Master of Arts in International Relations and Affairs and a Bachelor's degree in International Studies from Texas A&M University, with additional study abroad experience in Russian Language and Literature at Saint Petersburg State University of Finance and Economics.
