Sourav Dey

Sourav Dey currently serves as a Data and MEL Officer at Chemonics International since July 2024, following a role as a Research Consultant at the Center for Environmental and Geographic Information Services (CEGIS) from October 2023 to June 2024. Previously, Sourav held the position of Junior Consultant for Data Visualization at the U.S. Forest Service from April 2023 to September 2023, where responsibilities included producing story maps and related geo-database for the Community Partnerships to strengthen Sustainable Development (Compass) program. Sourav also worked as a Database Officer at Cordaid from February 2022 to September 2022 and served as a Program Assistant for Database at the Center for Natural Resource Studies (CNRS) from December 2020 to December 2021, contributing to Site Management and Engineering Projects funded by the World Food Programme (WFP). Sourav earned a Bachelor of Science in Environmental Science from the University of Chittagong between 2013 and 2019.
