Alex Loddoch is a highly experienced professional in High Performance Computing (HPC) and emerging technologies, currently serving as a Chevron Fellow at Chevron since 2007. Previously, Alex held positions as Product Manager and Strategist within HPC Research & Software Development. Prior to Chevron, Alex worked as a Research Scientist at the University of Muenster from 2002 to 2007, focusing on the thermal evolution of terrestrial planets, Computational Fluid Dynamics, and Geodynamics. Alex began a career in the tech industry with a summer internship at Infineon Technologies in 1999, where responsibilities included calibrating High-Speed Memory test equipment. Alex holds a PhD in Geophysics and Physics, as well as an MSc in Physics, both from the University of Muenster.
