Zhiyuan Jiang

Zhiyuan Jiang is a Product Development Engineer at Chevron Phillips Chemical Company since December 2024, with prior experience as a Research Engineer at Formosa Plastics Corporation, U.S.A., from February 2022 to December 2024. At Formosa Plastics, Zhiyuan conducted polymer characterization of polyolefins, led a product development project for translucent thin wall injection molded polypropylene for refrigerated food packaging, and addressed customer complaints while troubleshooting manufacturing issues. Zhiyuan holds a Ph.D. in Materials Science and Engineering with a focus on polymers from Texas A&M University, achieved in December 2021, and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry from Nanjing University between 2011 and 2015.
