Jenn Oswald

Jenn Oswald is an experienced educator and teaching artist with a diverse background in both humanities and theatre. Currently, Oswald serves as a Middle School Humanities Teacher, as well as a 5th and Associate 4th Grade Teacher at Chicago Jewish Day School since August 2021. Previous roles include Director of Summer Education Programs and Acting Education Director at Great River Shakespeare Festival, as well as a Teaching Artist at Northlight Theatre and Open Books, where Oswald led various educational initiatives and workshops. Additional experience encompasses positions in theatre arts, including costume design and front-of-house management at Chicago Shakespeare Theater. Educational qualifications include a Master of Education in Secondary Education - English from DePaul University and a Bachelor of Arts in Education/Costume Design from Illinois Wesleyan University.
