Xiaolin Liu

Xiaolin Liu is currently a Scholar at Chicago Scholars since May 2021. Liu has held multiple internships at Google, including a STEP Intern position focused on Privacy Sandbox and Anti-Fingerprinting from June to September 2024, as well as another STEP Intern role from June to September 2023, concentrating on Cloud Persistent Disk, Telemetry, and Emerging Virtual Machines. Liu served as a Research Assistant at Northwestern University from January 2023 to January 2024, working on the Debiasing Humans with Argument Maps research project in the Visual Thinking Lab. Previous experience includes a Project Intern role at After School Matters in summer 2022, contributing to initiatives for the Chicago Chinatown community, and serving as a Youth Facilitator for the Coalition for a Better Chinese American Community (CBCAC) from September 2020 to January 2022, where Liu led programs promoting identity, leadership, and civic engagement. Liu is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Data Science and Computer Science at Northwestern University and plans to study Computer Science at The University of Hong Kong in late 2024.
