Karren Johnson-Barnes

Karren Johnson-Barnes possesses extensive experience in workers’ compensation and human resources. Currently serving as the Director of Workers’ Compensation at the Chicago Transit Authority since October 2007, Karren previously held the position of Manager in the same department. Before joining the Chicago Transit Authority, Karren worked as a Human Resources Specialist at Securitas Security Services USA, Inc. from October 2005 to October 2007. Karren's educational background includes a Master of Jurisprudence in Corporate Governance from Loyola University Chicago School of Law (2009-2011) and a Bachelor of Science in Human Resources Management from Northern Illinois University (2000-2004).
