Malik al-Shareef

Malik Al-Shareef has extensive experience in workers' compensation claims management, with current roles at the Chicago Transit Authority and Cook County, serving as a W/C Claims specialist in the Legal Department and a Senior Consultant in Risk Management, respectively. Since 2011, Malik has investigated and resolved complex workers' compensation indemnity claims, managed litigated and catastrophic claims, and negotiated settlements, all while mentoring others and achieving quality initiatives. Previous positions include roles at Jacobson, United Airlines, Cama Solutions, Berkley Risk Claims Services, Esis/Ace USA, Marriott International, and Scott Wetzel Services, showcasing a robust history of claim consultation and management across various organizations. Malik holds a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology and Political Science from Aurora University and has furthered education at Cornell University and GWC.
